Areas We Serve
Amaya Tree Service LLC travels out from Huntsville to work properties throughout New Waverly, TX, a Walker County town surrounded by the Sam Houston National Forest.
New Waverly sits just south of Huntsville, wrapped almost entirely by the Sam Houston National Forest. Nearly every property here has dense stands of loblolly pine crowding the lot lines, and many homes were built into the timber rather than cleared for it, which means trees are often closer to structures than homeowners realize.
New Waverly is one of the closest communities to our shop, and we're out here often for both scheduled pruning and after-storm cleanup.
With forest pressing in on most New Waverly lots, removing a hazardous pine usually means dropping it in sections through a narrow gap between neighboring trees rather than a clean, open lane.

The dense pine cover around New Waverly means storm damage can be widespread and hard to see from the road. We check thoroughly for hanging limbs and leaning trees, not just what's obviously down.

Pines packed tightly at the forest edge in New Waverly grow tall and thin, often leaning toward the nearest opening. We prune to reduce that lean and clear limbs away from roofs.

We grind pine stumps below grade in New Waverly yards so they don't become a hiding spot for pests in a heavily wooded area.

Clearing a defensible space or new building pad in New Waverly means cutting into established forest, which we do carefully to protect the trees the homeowner wants to keep as a buffer.
